Some ideas belong to everyone.
Data belongs to whoever put it in, and anyone who leaves takes theirs away: that is one of the rules we set ourselves. But some of what we write has no reason to stay ours alone. If it is of use to somebody else, it is a good thing that they take it.
Sometimes we can afford to share what we have understood, instead of taking an advantage from it. The code below is ours, written for problems we had ourselves: it sits in public repositories under a free licence. Whoever takes it, uses it and changes it owes us nothing, asks nobody's permission and signs nothing.
That is not generosity, it is karma. Code that passes through ten pairs of hands makes you think in ways we would never have seen on our own, and comes back better. If you find a fault, open an issue; if you want to use it, you clone it and thank us. We do the same.
